The BGS Employee Benefits Advantage begins with the discovery of the objectives, concerns and prior claims experience for our clients. After confirming the objectives, we then move to the analysis phase to drill down on the cost-drivers impacting premiums, such as prior claims experience, network utilization and prescription drug costs. This allows us to identify trends and project future claims experience in order to develop specific strategies to positively impact or reduce those cost-drivers. A custom plan has to include the underlying costs to administer health plans such as enrollment, education and the utilization of Health Advocates during the plan year. These indirect costs can be substantial and need to be addressed in any employee benefit management plan The BGS Employee Benefit Advantage introduces strategic activities to reduce enrollment and administrative costs, address and manage the various employment or compliance requirements and burdens, temper future claim costs and utilization through health fairs and/or wellness programs, and to project future costs. Only by measuring results to goals, and adapting to the fluid nature of healthcare, are we able to successfully achieve the mutual goals set with our clients. |
